LabMaster™ is a powerful graphic user interface (GUI) for the Wentworth line of probers, delivering real-time, fully integrated monitoring and control for failure analysis, device characterization and production related applications. Its easily configurable menus and sophisticated auto-routines ensure compatibility with a wide variety of accessories.

Powerful LabMaster mapping features enable users to view high quality images and to define wafer maps for device navigation and positioning. Advanced LabMaster safety features minimize potential problems caused by inexperience or inadvertent actions, while retaining the capabilities required by more advanced users.

Having set the standard for system software improvements such as laser control integration, auto par centering, auto par focus and quiet mode, among others, Wentworth Laboratories designed LabMaster with a variety of utilities to allow non-programmers to write sophisticated test routine programs. These test routines may then be re-used as desired for automated testing, a significant productivity advantage. Full documentation of the LabMaster system is available through a user-friendly manual or through Wentworth Worldwide Access, an exclusive software/hardware diagnostic service.

Communication with standard hardware devices is assured via IEEE-488 (GPIB), RS232 or TTL interface protocols, in addition to inter-software communications between LabMaster and other software packages.
