A Completely Networked Test Floor
Solution
The Pegasus
S200 LED/Scanning/Chip Prober
ideally meets the LED industry requirement to
probe LED die mounted onto blue tape/ring
carriers. Derived from Wentworth’s exclusive
Pegasus LED wafer prober platform, the Pegasus
S200 LSC prober is integrated with the latest
scanning and image recognition technology to
deliver the fastest LED scanning and probing
performance available.
Pegasus S200
line scanning technology enables
super fast location and coordinate data to be
acquired in a fraction of the time other
technologies offer. Once this data is acquired,
the Pegasus platform probes each die at very
high speed, comparable with conventional wafer
probing systems.
Utilizing the
embedded PC architecture of the Pegasus platform
allows the test floor to be truly networked
using conventional TCP/IP protocol. This allows
coordinate data to be acquired and distributed
to networked Pegasus probers. The end result is
a substantial cost saving to the customer and an
enormous benefit in overall cost of ownership.

Performance Benefits:
Fast Scanning
– Line scanning technology for accurate die
location and super fast data acquisition.
Accurate Scanning - Eliminates
theacquisition errors associated with area
scanning techniques.
Fast Probing - The Pegasus platform
maintains probing speeds comparable with wafer
probing techniques.
Low Cost of Ownership - Networking the
scanning system to Pegasus platforms offers
substantial savings.
Backwards Compatible – Existing Pegasus
users can upgrade their systems to integrate
into the networked test floor solution.
Versatile – Proven integration with all
the major LED test systems available.
Adaptable – Chuck will accept diced
wafers in both ring mounted and un-mounted
formats.
