Sales Engineer

We are seeking a Sales Engineer based in the Silicon Valley, California area.  The right candidate will have the ability to maintain existing accounts, and grow and develop new accounts.

You may have 3 to 5 years in high technology equipment or material sales, service or application engineering.  A BS or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering is not essential but is preferred.  Do you have a high tech background and the ability to sell?

Manufacturing Engineer

Wentworth has an immediate opening for Manufacturing Engineers at our Corporate Headquarters in Brookfield, Connecticut.

We are looking for individuals experienced in design, procurement, assembly, documentation, and maintaining custom automated equipment used to fabricate, assemble and /or measure parts or assemblies for probe cards.

We require the following background:  BS in mechanical or electrical engineering and three years of Engineering experience; providing a strong background in Material Science, spring design, equipment repair, fixture design, lean manufacturing, Ohm's Law, Kirchhoff's Current and Voltage Laws and electronic components.

You must have the computer and statistical skills to analyze the data and provide useful reports to management.  You will design and oversee the implementation of process experiments to improve existing procedures and maintain continuous process improvement.  You will also analyze operating procedures and equipment and machinery functions to reduce processing time and cost.

We are seeking a Buyer based in our corporate headquarters in Brookfield, CT.

The right candidate will have buying and vendor management experience in high tech components, printed circuit boards, optics, capital equipment and other commodity products ued in a high tech environment.  Experience in dealing with overseas suppliers and sourcing new vendors is a plus.

We are seeking a Machinist in our corporate headquarters in Brookfield, CT.

The qualified candidate will have great organizational skills and be proficient in using standard machine shop equipment such as milling machines and manual lathes, and be able to perform setups and fixturing.  The job requires the ability to read and understand blueprints and the ability to work independently.  We require a minimum of two years of 'job shop' experience, and a State Apprentice Certificate would be a plus.  You will work in a very clean environment.
